Seed Grants 2008 - 2011

By supporting the work of the HEAL Network, Northern Health recognizes that we must tackle the burden of diabetes, cardiac and vascular diseases, cancer and obesity through engaging grassroots community solutions for change. Partnering with community groups to promote chronic disease prevention through healthy eating and active living is the foundation of the HEAL Network. Through HEAL and HEAL for Your HEART seed grants, we will help realize fresh approaches to creating healthier northern communities. Together we can make a difference.

We are pleased to announce the projects selected for 2010 seed grants and we look forward to sharing the good news stories from these projects as they develop.

The next request for proposals is expected to be released in the fall of 2010, with funds being distributed in early 2011. For more information on the HEAL Seed Grants for 2011 go to IMAGINE Grants 2011
